Tenri University in Autumn

Hi there!

So starting from today I will slowly introduce more about my university to you guys <3

The university where I am doing the exchange study is located at a beautiful and spiritual town in West Japan, called Tenri (“天理”). It is in fact one and only religious town in Japan, which makes it quite special.  Moreover, most people may not know Tenri was briefly the capital of Japan in the history,  specifically during the reign of Emperor Ninken. That’s why I feel really lucky to study at Tenri Unversity!!

That being said… Autumn is definitely everywhere now in Japan. woohoo~~

The trees in our school are turning colors…IMG_8626

On my way back from school, I saw these elementary school boys passing by the street… Their matching hats and randoseru (backpacks) are just wayyyy too cute.IMG_8627

Randoseru are the standard backpacks that all Japanese elementary school boys and girls use. Usually boys use black ones and girls use red ones (^^) It costs around $400 USD for one bag like this on average, however, the better ones could go as high as $800 or even $1000 USD!!! I know! Expensive riiiiiight? =P Well I asked my friends and they said since randoseru are supposed to last for 6 years from 1st grade to 6th grade, so it’s really worth the investment. 😉

Anyway, recently the weather is just amazing! Hopefully the sunny days would last till the winter hits 🌻☀️
